School Visits and Workshops
Julia is available for readings and workshops at schools and organizations in Seattle and throughout the Pacific Northwest. She has previously worked with the Scottish Book Trust, as an author on the Live Literature program, working in schools throughout Scotland's central belt.
Julia has worked extensively with teenagers (12-17) in workshop settings, as well as with aspiring adult writers! Her possible workshop topics include querying and pitching, writing tropes, LGBT+ representation in fiction, fantasy world-building, developing characters and voice.
She is happy to visit schools or non-profit youth organizations within Seattle city for free, provided the school purchases 10+ copies of her books for classroom or library use.
For schools or other organizations further afield, please contact her for rates.
